Okayama Castle
The castle was built by Ukita Hideie, one of the powerful daimyo who supported Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
The castle tower, which has an unequal pentagonal shape, is rare nationwide.
The castle tower, which is a symbol of Okayama city, is also known as "Ujo (Crow Castle)" due to its black board-clad exterior.
From the top floor, you can overlook the Asahikawa River, Okayama Korakuen, and the city area.

The exhibition was supervised by historian Isoda Michifumi, a native of Okayama city, and the exhibits inside the museum were completely renewed. Cultural properties related to Okayama are on display.
Inside the castle tower, you can enjoy a cafe and souvenir shop, take pictures riding in a palanquin or on a horse, hold a sword or gun, and even experience dressing up as a lord or princess.
